SHRM @ SJSU membership provides access to co-ops, internships, and job positions in the Human Resources field.

There are also opportunities to participate in the following association-sponsored workshops:

• Resume Writing – Have your resume reviewed and critiqued during a Resume Workshop by an experienced HR professional and/or Recruiter
• Mock Interviews – Learn what answers employees are looking for during interviews. Also, learn tips on conducting interviews.
• Networking – Meet and network with local professionals at NCHRA meetings while gaining valuable insight on current Human Resources issues. Participate in social events where you get the opportunity to network with fellow SHRM @ SJSU members in a fun environment.
• Mentorship Program – Be paired up an HR professional with more than 10–15+ years of experience. Great opportunity to find out what it's like to work in HR and gain valuable information about how to start your HR career.
• Scholarship Program – SHRM @ SJSU will announce all scholarship opportunities on our website as they become available.
• Internship Program – SHRM @ SJSU will announce all internship opportunities on our website as they become available.
• Company Tours – Tour local companies and their Human Resources Departments to learn about what Human Resources professionals are doing in their organizations.
• SHRM@SJSU Graduation – Human Resource Majors are encouraged to participate in both the College of Business graduation and the SHRM @ SJSU Graduation, a smaller and more intimate ceremony held every May. Students graduating in December are welcomed to participate in the May ceremony.
