Darlene Tran
President

Darlene Tran is the current President for the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) at San Jose State University. She joined SHRM at SJSU in the fall of 2010, initially fulfilling the role of VP of Careers, after which she gradually transitioned into the position of Executive Vice President in the spring 2011 semester. Primary influences in Darlene's decision to become involved both with SHRM at SJSU and the ELC was the hope to both develop professionally, as well as to make lasting relations with her peers at San Jose State. Darlene is expected to graduate in the spring of 2012 with a degree in Business Administration concentrating in Human Resource Management.
Arishma Singh

Arishma Singh is curently the Recruiting Coordinator for SHRM@SJSU. Arishma works with SHRM officers to maintain recruitment of new members as well as updating members of upcoming SHRM activities. Alexandra Dragonetti
Vice President

Alexandra Dragonetti is currently a senior at SJSU and she is expecting to graduate in December 2010. Alexandra believes joining SHRM@SJSU is an excellent way to network, further personal growth, gain access to jobs and internships, receive first-hand knowledge of scholarships, and develop lasting friendships; all of which were a major influence in her decision to join. As the Vice President, Alexandra hopes broaden the opportunities available to the organizations members. She also hopes to encourage her peers to join so they too can reap the numerous benefits of SHRM@SJSU. Jessica White
Vice President of Finance

Jessica White is a graduating senior majoring in Human Resources. She joined SHRM last semester and was Vice President of Careers. Now she will be taking over the role of Vice President of Finance. She has enjoyed working with the other officers and attending events where she meets new people. SHRM is a great club to join for networking and learning about job opportunities, as well as meeting other students who are taking similar classes. Jessica Bounlangsy
Vice President of Communications

Jessica Bounlangsy is graduating senior at San Jose State University who is majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resource Management. She is currently interning at Lam Research where she is able to implement what she has learned in SHRM and in HR related classes. As Vice President of Communications, she is responsible for creating monthly newsletters, communicating about internship and job opportunities, and sharing the benefits of SHRM. Katrina Chernoff
Vice President of Marketing

Katrina Chernoff is the VP of Marketing for SHRM@SJSU and has been at San Jose State for 3 semesters. Katrina is involved in SHRM@SJSU despite being a Marketing major because she sees the value in becoming more exposed to human resource related issues. As the VP of Marketing, she is able to use her major to help market SHRM by creating flyers, designing the display case, and keeping the students reminded of SHRM's events. Tuyen Tran is a graduating senior. She has been with SHRM since spring 2010. She's majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources and minor in Occupational Psychology. Rick Partridge
Faculty Advisor

Rick Partridge is an adjunct faculty member in the Org and Mgt Department, as well as a Career Consultant for the LGSB. Prior to coming to SJSU, he spent 25 years working in a variety of senior HR roles, mostly in the Technology sector.
Cayla Cavin
Director of Social Events

Cayla Cavin is a senior at SJSU majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources Management. She currently holds the position of Guest Speaker Coordinator of SHRM @ SJSU. Cayla's goal as an officer of SHRM is to provide an opportunity for students to network with human resource professionals and to learn about the corporations that made them successful. Deanna Fairchild

I am honored to be the new Faculty Advisor for SHRM @ SJSU. I am a Graduate of the Human Resources program in the College of Business at San Jose State University. I also hold a Masters of Science in Organizational Development from the University of San Francisco. Additionally, I possess a Senior Professional of Human Resources certification. My goal is to support the students in the successful accomplishment of the SHRM Merit Award, winning the HR Games, and all other activities.
